Light Mapping Series |
|
For the past few months I have been mapping light reflections on water. Through photographic processes I record these reflections at different times of day and on different bodies of water. I create vector drawings from my visual notes that I then laser cut into plexiglass. I use these sculptural matrixes to print deeply embossed surfaces on paper. The resulting prints ambiguously reference the subtracted spaces of light.
